End Terrace
A testament to how Permitted Development planning rights can be used to create valuable additional space.
Our brief was a familiar one, to design & gain planning approval for an extension to a family home in need of expansion. Utilising permitted development planning rights, we were able to deliver a space that would open up the internal arrangement creating a large social space whilst forming a link between the garden & the house.
From the Designer, ‘It is becoming increasingly common for people to look towards open plan living & there is no wonder why. A benefit of open-plan living is by removing intermediate walls you help rationalise spaces allowing light to penetrate deeper into the floor plan improving quality of life, whilst forming a social hub bringing people together.
Permitted Development rights are useful in allowing people to extend their properties without having to submit a full planning application, saving time and resources that can be spent on extending your home.’
