Haybarn

Extension to rural barn conversion on the outskirts of Tonbridge

 

We have completed a number of projects on the Haybarn; the first being a bespoke garden building that replaced the existing shelter with a new purpose-built structure serving as a store with designated space for logs, bikes, and bins. The second phase addressed the house, reconfiguring the internal layout and creating a First Floor extension that extends over the terrace, creating a unique master bedroom that gives the sensation of floating above the ground.

 

From the Designer, ‘The Haybarn is a project we know well and one we have enjoyed working on over the years. Being located within the Green Belt as well as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has required a considered approach to planning, however, this has not restricted the opportunity to create a piece of architecture that is unique and reflects the client's creative personalities.'
