New build luxury home located at the top of Blue Bell Hill alongside the protected woodlands overlooking the rolling countryside below - Planning Approved

 

Located in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, proposing to create a large detached new build home on a site previously part of a neighbouring garden containing protected woodlands was a challenging prospect that we were excited to be involved in.

From the beginning, we set out to create a design that would cause minimal impact to the surrounding countryside, ecosystems, and woodlands. By zoning areas of the site to be protected, we quickly arrived at what we referred to as a 'safe build' zone where the building would be sited.

With this carefully considered design approach and consideration to the surrounding context and residents, we were able to achieve planning permission for the project with the planning officers recommendation.
