Creation of new detached home office situated in the rural village of Ryarsh designed to reflect traditional Kentish outbuildings - Under Construction

 

As the number of people looking to work from home full-time increases, so too does the desire for dedicated workspaces which can be separated from their home life.

Appreciating the rural setting, the design looked to replicate a traditional Kentish outbuilding using timber weatherboarding painted black alongside a slate roof. The combination of the two traditional materials alongside modern aluminium windows created a structure that is suited to both its rustic setting and modern requirements contained within a compact and efficient building.
