Originally a modest house with piecemeal extensions, this project reworks the property into a spacious and luxurious home while carefully navigating planning constraints.

The brief focused on improving flow, scale, and quality of accommodation — replacing small bedrooms with four generous suites, introducing large open-plan living spaces, and creating a first-floor roof terrace as a distinctive yet discreet feature.

The design has been shaped through close dialogue with the planning authority, resulting in a scheme that enhances the original house, respects its context, and delivers a significant uplift in living standards.

The proposal showcases how considered design and planning strategy can unlock a site’s full potential and is currently progressing on site.
